Tuesday

One thing I can say for surgeons, they sure do start their rounds early and they know how to barrel into a room. Allison did get some sleep last night...but for the rest of us it is never good sleep. Allison did not get her g tube put back in yesterday. They said that her tummy is draining too much and that will slow down when her gut starts working again.

Last night she got a bed bath and sat in her wheelchair for about 30 minutes before that wore her out. She was all smiles getting into her chair and when she was done, putting her back she was all smiles again. I will say one thing for her...she has been a real trooper. She has had appropriate smiles and giggles as well as being able to tell us yes and no when needed. A milestone since we have been here...she now knows what 'owies' means. Can I just say that is very helpful.

Prayer requests would be for her gut to work so she can eat so we can go home:)
Praise to God for the angel he sent yesterday so Mom could have an overdue nap.
Praise to God for the strength he gives to Jeff.
Praise to God that he gave us a Husband and Dad like Jeff.
Praise to God for each beautiful day that he walks with us on this journey.

Love and Blessings
Amy
