At about 2:30 PM Allison got out of surgery. The doctors repaired the hernia and did not find any other problems that may be the cause of the bleeding. They are hopeful the bleeding will now cease.
At about 4:00 PM Allison was back in her room on the 9th floor and was doing well although in pain. The family was waiting for the pain management people to come.
At about 5:00 PM Allison took a turn for the worse. She was agitated and in more pain than she should be. They moved her to the 10th floor for closer monitoring while they gave her some additional medication.
At about 8:00 PM Amy reported that Allison's breathing is labored and her heart rate and respirations were elevated. Amy was going home with Keala so that Jeff could focus all his attention on Allison. Prayers are needed that the medications do not further hamper Allison's breathing. She is obviously in considerable pain and is crying.
